Terms and conditions, warranty, delivery and return policy of HUH designer goods (HUH)

 

Sustainability

HUH is committed to sustainability. The items are produced in the Netherlands and in Portugal, thus limiting the footprint. HUH also seeks healthy working conditions

 

Article 1: Applicability

1. These conditions apply to every agreement concluded

between HUH designer goods and the customer.

2. By placing an order with HUH, the customer agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of HUH.

3. HUH reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions and the content of its website.

 

Article 2: Prices and payments

1. The stated price of the products is in Euro`s (including VAT). Excluding shipping and handling costs at home and abroad.

2. 2. The amounts owed by the customer must be paid in advance, unless otherwise specified.

 

Article 3: Delivery

1. Unless otherwise agreed, shipping costs are for the account of the customer.

2. HUH aims to send the products via GLS or Post NL as soon as possible and in any case within 3 working days (excluding weekends), after receipt of the order. HUH cannot be held responsible for late delivery caused by delays at the relevant delivery service. If you still have not received your order after 6 working days, please contact us via email: hello@huh.nl or call: 020-3303637.

3. HUH is not liable for lost or damaged products shipped. If it is established that HUH is nevertheless liable for any damage, the liability is maximised to the order amount.

4. If the delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot or only partially be executed, the customer will be informed within 14 days. In that case, the customer has the right to cancel the order free of charge.

5. If a product that is temporarily out of stock is ordered by the customer, it will be indicated when the product will be available again. Delivery costs of a subsequent delivery are entirely for HUH.

 

Article 4: Agreements and offers

1. An agreement between HUH and a customer is established after an order order order has been assessed for feasibility by HUH and subsequently confirmed to the customer.

2. All offers of HUH are non-binding. An offer expires if the product to which the offer relates is no longer available in the time between the placing of the order and the receipt of payment.

3. All images; photos, drawings as well as data concerning colours, dimensions, pictures of labels, etc. on the internet site are approximate only, are indicative and cannot be a reason for compensation or dissolution of the contract.

 

Article 5: Force majeure

HUH is not obliged to fulfil any obligation towards the customer if it is prevented from doing so as a result of a circumstance that is not attributable to fault by HUH and involves a cause beyond its control. In case of force majeure, the customer cannot hold HUH liable.

 

Article 6: Exchanges and returns

1. HUH makes every effort to inform the customer about its products via the website. Should a product nevertheless not meet expectations, the product can be exchanged or returned via the address below.

2. Within 7 days after receipt of the order, the customer may notify by e-mail: hello@huh.nl that she is returning the order. Actual physical return must also take place within this period.

3. The products notified for return should be sent to HUH within three working days after notification:

We recommend keeping the proof of shipment.

4. The returned article should be in original condition. That is: not damaged, unused and in its original packaging. HUH reserves the right to credit only part of the amount when it is suspected that the products have already been used or damaged after receipt.

5. Shipping costs for the return shipment are to be borne by the customer. The returned goods must always be sufficiently stamped. Insufficiently stamped returns will not be accepted and will therefore not be credited. In case of a justified complaint or defect, these costs will be reimbursed, this is at HUH's discretion.

 

Article 7: Retention of title

All products delivered by HUH remain the property of HUH until the customer has fulfilled his/her financial obligations.

 

Article 8: Warranty

If an article shows defects upon delivery, the customer may return the article in consultation with HUH and HUH will exchange or repair the product. HUH offers 1 year warranty on all products in the webshop, under normal use. Please note that a product may shrink or discolour.

 

Article 9: Complaints and liability

1. Before shipment, the products are carefully checked by HUH. Should there nevertheless be complaints about an ordered product, the customer can make this known within seven days after receipt of the order via e-mail: hello@huh.nl.

HUH will respond to the complaint as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail. Returns should be notified to HUH in advance. Unnotified returns will not be credited.

2. HUH will assess the complaint. If a complaint is justified, HUH will reimburse a maximum of the purchase amount.

3. HUH is not liable for damages caused by improper use of the product.

4. Due to individual settings of monitors, colour deviations cannot be excluded.

5. HUH is not liable for direct or indirect damages incurred after delivery, by whatever cause, to the customer or to third parties.

 

Article 10: Privacy

On the HUH designer goods website, you will be asked to fill in some personal/company data. These data are used for the execution and settlement of the order.

 

Article 11: Copyright

The texts, photographs, images, logos, trade and domain names and other data used by HUH designer goods are protected by copyright and may not be copied, saved and/or distributed without written and express permission from HUH.

 

Article 12: Application of law and disputes

1. All legal relations to which HUH is a party are exclusively governed by Dutch law, even if it concerns an agreement with a customer who has his/her residence abroad. The applicability of the Vienna Sales Convention is excluded.

2. The parties will only appeal to court after they have made every effort to resolve a dispute in mutual consultation.
